Description of the Language Course
The course combines an excellent program (crafted by the University of Novi Sad for Serbian, and for Croatian a specially designed course for EU Comission), and a number of multi-media materials collected over the years of teaching.
The course contains lots of interactive exercises, dialogues, group work, role play, listening exercises with video clips, music, audio recordings etc. In addition, continued structured grammar exercises will ensure you build a solid basis in grammar. The training will be held in Serbian or Croatian from day one. The course will end with a final test and a certificate.
One course semester (60h) covers a level level from the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages.
The introductory course starts from basic greetings and phrases and introduction to alphabet (for Croatian it's Latin, the case of Serbian, we start with Latin, and the gradually introduce Cyrillic). Other topics covered: how to use the language in situations like basic orientation in a new city, asking for directions, at the shop, at the airport, talking to friends, in professional situations, talking about the culture and much more.
Individual One-on-one Lessons Bosnian, Croatian or Serbian
One-on-one lessons with a language professional are the most effective means of learning the language. The language trainer focuses solely on you, working on your specific areas requiring most attention. You also get to set your own pace: we can cover the complete language level anywhere between 10 and 30 weeks.
